The brown leather on this vest gets better every time you wear it. After about a month of rides it's softening up in all the right places and still holding its structure everywhere else. The zipper pockets have held up fine no sticking, no loosening. I had the back panel left blank for my club work and the leather there is exactly the right grade for embroidery. Solid build, great color, made to my actual measurements. Hard to beat.

The brown is a deep, warm cognac color not that orange-y cheap brown you see on a lot of budget vests. It photographs beautifully but looks even better in person. I've been looking for a quality brown biker vest for two years and everything I found was either too light in color or too thin in the leather. This one nails both. The zipper pockets work exactly as they should and the back panel is clean and ready for my patches. Really pleased.
My old black vest went to a friend who needed one, so I decided to try something new with this brown. Great decision. The color is rich and the leather has a slightly different texture than my old black vest a bit more character to the grain. The zippers are quality hardware. Sizing was accurate to the chart and the vest arrived packed well. Already wore it on a 200-mile weekend run and it was comfortable the whole way.
Paired this with a pair of brown leather boots and I get compliments every ride. The leather is real cowhide with a nice natural variation in the grain each vest is going to have its own personality which I think is a plus. The pockets close securely at highway speeds which is the test that matters. Sizing was exactly right off the chart. Three-week turnaround was worth it for a vest made specifically to my build.
Brown leather vests are harder to find in good quality than black ones, so finding this was a win. The cowhide is full grain, you can feel the natural surface texture when you run your hand across it. It's going to age into a beautiful vest over the next few years.
