About this vest
A club vest with a hood on it. The back is one clean panel with no seam across the middle and no lace down the sides, so there is nothing in the way of a top rocker, a centre patch and a bottom rocker. The leather is full-grain cowhide, cut and stitched by hand, and the hood is leather outside with a soft cotton lining inside.
A back panel made for patches
Most hooded vests put a yoke seam or a side lace right where your centre patch needs to sit. This one does not. The back is a single piece of cowhide from the shoulder line down to the waistband, which is the main reason riders pick it: a full three-piece set goes on flat and stays flat.
Full-grain cowhide, built by hand
Cowhide was the right call here. It is heavier than lambskin, it carries the weight of sewn-on patches without pulling out of shape, and it scuffs into a finish of its own rather than wearing thin. Each vest is cut, skived and sewn in our own workshop, one at a time, and the seams are double-stitched everywhere the vest takes strain.
Zip, hood and pockets
The front runs on a two-way polished zip, so you can open it from the bottom when you sit down and the vest does not ride up. There are two welt hand pockets at the waist and two more inside: a plain one on the left and a zipped vertical pocket on the right, cut deep and sitting flat against the body. The hood drops back out of the way when you put a helmet on.

Sizes run from S to 8XL, cut regular so a hoodie goes underneath. Or send us your chest, waist and back length and we build the pattern to your body at no extra cost. We sew patches on before it ships at $35 each, and we can change the lining, the zip finish or the body length if you ask.
Looking after it
Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry away from heat. A light conditioner twice a year keeps the hide supple. Never machine wash it, and never put it near a radiator to dry.

FitWill a full three-piece patch set fit on the back?
Yes. The back is one piece of cowhide with no yoke seam and no side lace, so a top rocker, a centre patch and a bottom rocker all sit flat. Send us the patches with your order and we sew them on at $35 each, or leave the back blank and have your own shop do it.
Concealed carryCan I carry in this vest?
The right side has a deep zipped vertical pocket inside, cut flat against the body, and the left has a plain welt pocket. Riders use them for concealed carry. Check your own state law before you do, and tell us if you want the pocket moved or made larger.
HoodIs the hood attached or removable?
It is stitched on. It sits flat against your back when it is down, and it does not get in the way of a helmet. If you want it removable with snaps, ask us before you order and we will quote it.
SizingWhat size should I order?
Measure your chest over whatever you plan to wear under it and order that size. The cut is regular with room for a hoodie, and it runs S to 8XL, from $149 to $199. If you are between sizes, send us your chest, waist and back length and we cut it to your numbers at no extra cost.
LeatherIs this genuine leather, and who makes it?
It is full-grain cowhide, not split or bonded leather. Every vest is cut and stitched by hand in our own workshop, which is why we can change the pattern, pocket placement, lining or length for you.
