About this vest
This is a leather puffer built for riders who want real warmth without sleeves. The body is quilted in wide horizontal channels and filled so it holds heat, and every panel is cut and stitched by hand from soft lambskin. The hood is lined with thick sherpa, so the moment you pull it up your neck and ears are out of the wind.
Soft lambskin, quilted by hand
Every panel is cut, filled and sewn in our own workshop, one vest at a time. Lambskin was chosen over stiffer hides because a puffer has to move with you: it breaks in within a week and never fights your shoulders when you reach for the bars. The quilting is stitched channel by channel, which is why the lines stay straight instead of twisting after a season of wear.
A sherpa hood that earns its place
The hood is leather on the outside and lined with deep sherpa pile in natural beige. Two drawcords with metal tips let you pull it close in a cross-wind. It sits flat under a helmet, and off the bike it is the warmest part of the vest.
Pockets and hardware
The front runs on a full-length YKK zip backed by an inner storm flap, so wind does not come through the teeth. Two zipped hand pockets are set into the lower channels, deep enough for a phone and a pair of gloves. Inside the quilted lining there are two more pockets for a wallet, keys or documents.
Made to your measurements
Pick a size from S to 8XL, or send us your chest, waist and back length and we cut the pattern to your body at no extra cost. Club patches can be sewn on before it ships at $35 per patch. If you want a different leather, another lining colour or a longer body, tell us in the order notes and we will quote it.
Looking after it
Wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it dry away from direct heat. Treat the leather with a light conditioner twice a year. Do not machine wash it: the fill and the sherpa will not come back the same.

LeatherIs a leather puffer vest warm enough for winter riding?
Yes, as a mid layer it is. The body is quilted and filled, the leather blocks wind that a fabric puffer lets through, and the sherpa hood covers the gap most riders feel first. Over a hoodie it handles cold mornings down to freezing; in heavy snow wear it under a shell.
HoodIs the hood removable?
No. The hood is stitched to the body so it cannot twist or come loose at speed. It lies flat against your back when it is down, and it fits under a full-face helmet.
SizingWhat size should I order?
Measure your chest over the hoodie you plan to wear under it and pick that size. The vest is cut regular with room for a layer, and it runs from S to 8XL, from $159 to $209. If you are between sizes or want it cut to your own measurements, send us your chest, waist and back length and we will make it to those numbers at no extra cost.
PatchesCan I have my club patches sewn on?
Yes. Send us the patches or the artwork and we sew them on before the vest ships, at $35 per patch. Tell us where each one goes. The quilted back takes a centre patch well, though a puffer will never sit as flat as a plain club vest.
LeatherIs this real leather, and who makes it?
It is real lambskin, not bonded or coated. Every vest is cut, filled and stitched by hand in our own workshop, which is also why we can change the pattern, the lining or the length for you.
